Scouter,

The Race to 1,000 is underway! We're excited to share our progress, updates, and resources as we race toward membership growth and a strong finish to 2026 across GGAC.

Membership Moment - Be Intentional

Membership growth starts with a personal invitation. Flyers get glanced at, social media posts get scrolled past, but a friendly invitation makes a lasting impression.

This week’s challenge: Think of one family not yet involved in Scouting and invite them to your next pack or troop meeting.

Every Scout is here because someone opened the door to Scouting. This week, be that someone.

Current Metrics & Objectives

Throughout the Race to 1,000, we’ll share our progress toward welcoming 1,000 Scouts. Although the green flag dropped today, your efforts have already brought 101 Scouts toward our goal!

Our regular membership objectives and updates remain available below.

Don't Leave Your Leads in the Rearview Mirror!

193 Leads to Follow Up

164 Youth Applications Initiated

19 Youth Applications in Progress

Every lead brings us closer to the checkered flag!  Follow up with families, keep applications moving, and help more Scouts join the race.

🏁 Pack Fall Round-Up Progress

The race for Pinewood Derby cars is heating up! 37 packs are within striking distance of qualifying, 15 packs are on track if they complete their renewals, and 18 packs are already in victory lane, with membership growth exceeding their potential year-end drops!

As we head into the final laps, watch the Nov–Dec Possible Drops column. Following up with these families now could make the difference between crossing the finish line and falling short.
