Scouter,

As we move further into Q4, our focus is on keeping recruitment moving, supporting renewals, and finishing 2026 strong. Here are this week’s updates, resources, and opportunities to help grow Scouting across GGAC.

Current Metrics & Objectives

While new Scout registrations have slowed in recent weeks, there is still time to make an impact. Encourage your Scouts to invite a friend to join their unit and earn a Recruiter Strip! Peer-to-peer recruiting is one of the simplest ways to introduce more families to Scouting.

As we approach year-end, every new Scout, every renewal, and every new unit matters.

🏁 Pack Fall Round-Up Progress

Forty packs are just one milestone away from earning Pinewood Derby car kits for every Scout in the pack! Review the latest worksheet to see where your pack stands and what’s needed to qualify.

As renewal season continues, pay special attention to the Nov–Dec Possible Drops column. Reaching out to these families now can help your pack retain more Scouts and finish the year strong.

Questions? Contact your District Executive or email membership@goldengatescouting.org.

Scouting Is Better With Friends

Encourage Scouts to invite a friend to a meeting or activity. When that friend joins, the recruiting Scout can receive a free recruiter strip patch by completing the form on the flyer and bringing it to a local Scout Shop.

Share the flyer with your pack or troop and help Scouts turn friendship into adventure. Offer valid through December 31, 2026.
