Learn About Managing BeAScout Leads Scouting America Military Family Fee Waiver Beginning June 1, 2026, eligible military families may receive a waiver of national youth registration fees for both new and renewing online registrations. This new initiative helps expand access to Scouting for military-connected families nationwide. Local council and unit fees will still apply. Additional details and implementation guidance will be shared soon. The resource includes practical guidance on identifying prospects, recruiting leaders and youth, supporting new units, and navigating the unit formation process. View Forming New Units Guide Scouting America Membership Engagement Scouting America has launched a new Membership Engagement Committee focused on supporting growth, retention, and engagement efforts across the movement. The committee is sharing updates, ideas, and resources through its new Facebook page.   Follow the page to stay connected with frequent updates and membership-related resources.    Follow Membership Engagement Committee Scouting America Trail Map Launched at the National Annual Meeting, the new Scouting America Trail Map outlines a path toward enterprise strength and membership growth, with a long-term vision of serving 2 million youth. The initiative identifies key focus areas including volunteer experience, technology modernization, affordability, training redesign, local partnerships, and improving the first-year experience for new families. Units can receive council support, including paid advertising and additional resources, at no cost, when events are submitted through the form linked below.
