Once again, the council was recognized nationally as a top ten council for new Scouts and new units in the month of March. Thank you for the leadership and effort that made this possible. We are now fully into Q2, and our dials have been updated to reflect quarterly objectives. Please continue working with your membership team and leadership to review goals and implement local strategies to achieve them. Please review this list with your Key 3 and ensure all known prospects are included. New unit development remains a key priority for Q2. View New Unit Prospects The Language of Scouting Scouting has an official style guide that defines terms, spelling, and commonly used abbreviations. It is a helpful reference when you need to check terminology or decode the acronyms we often use. When working with prospective and new families, avoid acronyms and use full titles to keep communication clear. This resource can help you and others stay consistent. View the Language of Scouting We Have Momentum. Check Your Leads. As of this morning, there are 38 youth applications in progress and 151 initiated applications. Each represents a family that has already taken a step toward joining Scouting.   Take a moment to check Application Manager in my.Scouting to review and support these families, and use the resource below for guidance and best practices. Learn About Managing BeAScout Leads Reminder: Special Needs: Accommodations, Modifications, and Registration Beyond the Age of Eligibility (RBAE) Join this session to better understand available options, get your questions answered, and learn where to find additional resources. The webinar will be held on April 22. Register for Webinar Unit Join Events (UJE) Unit Join Events remain a key opportunity to grow Scouting, and the council is here to support units in making them successful. The council is offering paid advertising and additional resources, at no cost, to units that submit their events through the Google form linked below.
